Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic flowing practice that strengthens the mind and body in both movement and stillness. Yoga Chikitsa (Yoga Therapy) is the name of the first series which cleanses and brings balance to your entire system. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga can be learned during a self-practice session as well as in a led class environment. A self-practice class, with a teacher's guidance, is where you learn new and progressive postures when appropriate suited to your own level. This leads to a deeper understanding of the practice and of yourself within the practice of Yoga.
